Women's insulated jacket OVERKILL

Overkill is the garment that every mountaineer must have in their wardrobe. A four-season down jacket to use as an outer layer or under a shell. The Overkill down jacket can come in handy in any situation, even for a trip around town thanks to its sober style. The very high-quality 95/5 down padding makes it a very warm garment, although extremely light in weight. The down is in fact made up of very thin and fine fibres, which are the lightest way to trap and retain air without letting it escape, thus creating a thermal barrier of maximum efficiency. The volume of the down is therefore made up exclusively of the air trapped by the fibres and can be reduced to a minimum by compressing it to be stored in the backpack with minimum bulk and weight. The outer fabric is an ultralight 10D ripstop nylon treated with DWR for greater protection from the elements and is also sturdy enough to withstand frequent contact with rough surfaces, such as rock, ice and snow, which are often encountered in the mountains. Elastic with stopper at the hem and Lycra on the edge of the hood and cuffs to make the jacket fit close to the body and to prevent cold air from entering and warm air from escaping. A perfect mix of warmth, lightness and compressibility.
